INSPIRED "For Colored girls"

O' the Beauty of Color,
Every scene captured an essence, An essence of power and pain.
What is pain?
Pain is within the joys of being a mother and have it all taken from you before your very eyes,
Pain is the force that fills you when your lover leaves you continuously for another woman and yet, comes back to say I'M SORRY.
Pain is the drive that shadows you, and makes you believe you could never have a gay husband
Pain is the past of having a sexual encounter that left you barren
Pain is the lust for every man, night after night.
Pain is the virginity lost that leaves you pregnant.
Pain is in a hoarder that masks everything with being spiritual and yet is keeping a deep dark secret.
Our hearts are sometimes frivolous, it lies to us and shadows us from seeing the truth.
For colored girls showed the aspect of life that many of us face day to day or know someone who is.
The stories eloquently told by the finest actors of our time, embroidered the struggle of these women.
It was like, I faced it myself. "but I know you" and "I was you"  was a term that showed that many of us have been through this.
It showed the power within them,  The power that you could pick up the pieces and move on. Life is a story that has to be told, and shared amongst the living. That HIV is not the death sentence and it could happen to the most powerful of people, making them realize they are only human.  And the power that there is a God, and anyone that would rape any other being would not go unpunished, you have what's coming.

We cannot sometimes control our destiny,
but we can drive ourselves through the paths of good and greatness
A broken heart, A wounded spirit, A hurt soul, just never goes away... It just all becomes bare-able.

FOR COLORED GIRLS

I had the opportunity to see the movie last night, As I pulled up, I wondered  will this movie give me a different feel to what Tyler Perry's movies have always portrayed?  I guess that was what a lot of people had in their minds.

I heard the whisper from the conners of the theatre as I took my seat. "This movie better be good or else I'll be so mad"  Looking through the vast majority of people that showed up were "African American girls" either with their boy friends or their girls.
The previews started playing, and with like so many movies starting to bore me already. I started to look so uninterested even before it started, that my friend said to me severally "are you ok" "you look bored".
But then it began, what we had been waiting for, for many many months.  I sunk into my seat as the music began, a sentence from the actors in the movie such as  " this movie is for girls who have ever committed suicide"  that was it, I was sold.

As I watched every single aspect of the movie, it told amazing and true stories of colored girls living in New York city.
My eyes watered through it all, for the very first time in a theatre I teared for every girl that has had to go through any of the pain and suffering.  The scene that stood out to me was " the murder of the children"  I loved them like they were mine, I felt their pain, their struggle, their abuse.  It broke me...

It is a movie that everyone needs to take the time and go watch, get into it and feel every moment.
It was beautifully done down to the cinematography.
I rate this movie an A
